How to swap USDT to BTC without KYC
A step-by-step guide to swapping USDT (TRC20 or ERC20) to Bitcoin without an account: the quote, the deposit, the wait and what to check.
Swapping USDT to Bitcoin is one of the most common routes on GhostCross. This guide walks through it once, so the second time takes a minute.
1. Pick the right USDT
USDT exists on several networks. Open the wallet or exchange you send from and check which one you hold: TRC20 (Tron), ERC20 (Ethereum) or BEP20 (BNB Chain). Pick the same one on GhostCross. Sending on the wrong network is the one mistake that may not be recoverable.
2. Get the quote
Enter the amount. The quote shows what you receive in BTC, the route fee inside it, the network cost on its own line and the typical time. On Tron to Bitcoin the route usually has a bridge hop.
3. Add the addresses
- Your Bitcoin address receives the BTC.
- Your refund address on the network you send from gets the USDT back if the route fails. See what the refund address is for.

4. Send the exact amount
In ticket mode you get one deposit address and a short rate-hold window. Send exactly the amount shown. A small difference is re-quoted; a large one is refunded. Read what if I send the wrong amount.
5. Follow the progress page
