What is the refund address for?
If the route fails, the amount returns here. It must be on the same network you send from.
When it is used
Only if the route fails or a deposit cannot be processed. On a normal swap the refund address receives nothing.
Rules
- It must be on the same network you send from.
- It must be an address you control, not an exchange deposit address that needs a memo.
- With WalletConnect it can be filled from your wallet.
Why it matters
A wrong refund address cannot be fixed later. Check it as carefully as the destination.
